Pegasor Joins METECH project: Future Fuel Emission Monitoring

Pegasor is proud to announce its role in the METECH project, a €1.6 million Finnish initiative coordinated by VTT to revolutionize emission measurement for the marine, aviation, and heavy-duty engine sectors.

As industries shift toward hydrogen, ammonia, and biofuels, measuring ultra-low emissions in real-world conditions has become a critical challenge. The METECH project (2026–2028) aims to bridge the gap between laboratory precision and harsh field environments

Why Pegasor? Our patented sensor technology is central to the project’s goal of providing reliable, real-time data for:

  • Ultrafine Particles (UFP): Detecting harmful particles at extremely low concentrations.
  • New Fuel Challenges: Ensuring measurement accuracy for next-gen engines.
  • Harsh field environments: validating sensor performance in actual operating environments

By participating in METECH, part of Wärtsilä’s WISE Veturi program, Pegasor continues to lead the way in making the invisible visible for a net-zero future.
