Helsinki metropolitan area and Tampere city to utilize Pegasor AQ Urban in daily air quality monitoring


Pegasor AQ Urban measures ultrafine particle surface area, number and mass concentration in real time. It is targeted for dense monitoring networks in urban areas and helps authorities and environmental bodies to improve their air quality monitoring data and tackle challenges related to urban emission levels. Current PM2.5 instruments lack sensitivity to extremely harmful ultrafine particles born in different burn processes, such as traffic.
