New study: Long term LDSA measurements with AQ Urban show the need for and potential of dense measurement networks
Lung Deposition Surface Area (LDSA) measurements over 12 months in Helsinki metropolitan area show that AQ Urban, provides robust and accurate LDSA measurements. The study led by Finnish Meteorological Institute highlight the applicability of LDSA measurement for monitoring vehicle emissions in urban setting as well as small scale biomass burning events in detached housing area. Dense networks can be used to locate high emitters and better estimated the patterns and levels of exposure.
