Pegasor takes part in GIANT – project

We are excited to announce that Pegasor is a proud participant in the GIANT (Global trends in IAQ: Novel technologies, Competence and Business) project, a groundbreaking co-innovation initiative focused on advancing indoor air quality (IAQ) research and technology. This three-year project, with a total budget of €5.7 million, brings together 14 companies, several research institutes and municipalities. The goal is to investigate indoor aerosol phenomena and create new market opportunities for Finnish high-level technologies, solidifying Finland’s role as a leader in air quality innovation.

At Pegasor, we are dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions for air quality monitoring. Our involvement in the GIANT project enables us to expand our contributions to the field of IAQ and address critical challenges in modern indoor environments. A significant focus of ourparticipation is ultrafine particle (UFP) monitoring, an area of growing importance as UFPs are increasingly recognized for their impact on health and well-being. These tiny particles, invisible to the naked eye, can penetrate deep into the respiratory system, contributing to a range of adverse health effects.

Pegasor’s state-of-the-art sensors are specifically designed to provide precise, real-time measurements of UFPs. By enabling better understanding and more effective management of these particles, we aim to support the creattion of safer and healthier indoor spaces. Our technology not only empowers researchers but also supports decision-makers and businesses in meeting the latest WHO global air quality guidelines.

Collaboration is at the core of the GIANT project. By working alongside leading experts, forward-thinking companies, and municipalities, we aim to develop novel technologies that redefine IAQ standards and contribute to the creation of cleaner, healthier indoor environments.

We look forward to sharing updates on our contributions to the GIANT project. Stay tuned for more information on our progress and the advancements in IAQ technology that this collaboration will bring.
