Introducing Pegasor PPS-1000
Pegasor has introduced Pegasor PPS-1000, a compact, cloud-connected ultrafine particle monitor designed for real-time indoor air quality monitoring, occupational hygiene, exposure assessment and research applications.
PPS-1000 helps users measure ultrafine particles in indoor environments where conventional indoor air quality monitors may not provide enough particle-level information. The device provides real-time data on particle number concentration, lung deposited surface area, particle mass concentration and median particle size, giving users a more detailed view of indoor particle conditions.
Ultrafine particles, also known as UFPs, can be important for understanding indoor air quality, human exposure, source activity and the effectiveness of ventilation or mitigation actions. With real-time measurement data, PPS-1000 helps users monitor, compare and improve indoor environments such as offices, schools, laboratories, public buildings, workplaces and industrial indoor spaces.
At the heart of PPS-1000 is the robust Pegasor PPS-G2 sensor, which uses Pegasor’s proven electrical particle detection technology. The device combines compact design, quiet operation, a simple single-button interface and low-maintenance use with no consumables or operating liquids.
PPS-1000 also supports cloud-connected monitoring through the Pegasor Cloud Portal. With an integrated modem, measurement data can be transferred from the device to the cloud for remote access, storage and reporting. Users can view measurement trends, check device status, create reports, export data for further analysis and access measurement data through an API interface for integration with external systems.
